In 2019, Kylian Mbappé, the French football prodigy, created an association called Inspired by KM. This association, which is based on the French law 1901, aims to open up new possibilities for children, promote diversity and encourage sharing and learning.

Inspired by KM is managed by five people, including Wilfrid Mbappé, Kylian’s father, who is one of the founding members, along with three women: Soraya Lamari, Lucie Delaporte and Fayza Lamari, his mother. The association has set several objectives, which are to give children the opportunity to experiment and experience diversity, to learn, understand, share and finally transmit their knowledge.

The pedagogy used by Inspired by KM is based on several principles. First, the educational aims should be shared and accepted by both the family and the child. Secondly, a charter is signed by each child and their parents upon joining the project. Thirdly, to encourage the involvement of young people and families, a symbolic membership fee is requested. Fourthly, the voice of young people is fundamental, and fifthly, a link is established with schools, and individual follow-up is provided.

Inspired by KM organizes group activities between school hours and during school holidays, with various types of regrouping. These activities include language courses, cultural and sports outings, masterclasses and stays, all supervised by professionals.

All children participating in Inspired by KM are born between 2003 and 2010, and diversity has been a significant factor in their selection. The team that manages Inspired by KM relies on a multidisciplinary team, including a permanent teacher and trainer in the National Education system, Mrs. Mboma, who has been teaching for 20 years, and occasional facilitators.

In conclusion, Inspired by KM has set the bar high by promoting diversity and education through various activities supervised by professionals. Although the association is relatively new, it has the potential to change the world of children and contribute to a better and more open-minded society.
